Winemakers forever - Independent by nature
Our family business is characterized by the production of territorial wines resulting from the exclusive vinification of carefully selected estate grapes.
The activity began in 2020, thanks to the stubbornness of Marco who strongly wanted to translate the authenticity of his homeland, Salento, into wine.
Exaltation of the varietal and “non-homologated” style are the cornerstones of our young independent company.
The estate extends over 21 hectares, 15 of which are vineyards.
Around 15,000 bottles are produced per year, with a much higher capacity.
Our family is directly involved in every detail of the production:
from planting the vine shoots to pruning, from manual harvesting to
winemaking.
Vineyards
Our vineyards are located in San Pancrazio Salentino, a few kilometers from the sea, in the Salice Salentino DOC area, known for its strong wine-growing vocation.
We only breed native Salento varieties: Negroamaro, Primitivo, Fiano and Susumaniello.
The proximity of the sea provides constant breezes and large temperature variations between day and night.
Our soils are mainly clayey, deep and perfectly draining.
All factors that give our wines structure and freshness, body and elegance.
Cellar
The goal in the cellar is to transfer into the bottle all the quality of our grapes, scrupulously harvested by hand, and the richness of the territory in which we are fortunate to work, bottling simply authentic wines, capable of telling their story.
Our cellar is on a human scale and allows for extreme precision and control of all the phases to obtain high quality wines.

We use an oxygen reduction press to best preserve all the aromas of our musts.
The team
Our company has built a close-knit team of highly specialized workers who take care of the vineyard on a daily basis. Our collaborators come from local farming families and share with us the great passion for Salento.

I am the creator of this project.
After ten years spent abroad I decided to return to Salento to give continuity to the agricultural enterprise of
my family.
I bring with me the technical and organizational innovation resulting from my engineering education.
I launch the company with the aim of interpreting my wine, to which I proudly attribute my name.
I manage all stages of production: from the vineyard to the distribution of the bottle. -
Mini Funiati
I am the company's point of reference, with my thirty-year experience in vineyard cultivation and micro-vinification.
I deal with the daily and tireless management of the activities in the field and I am a great enthusiast of agricultural mechanics.
Nothing is more pleasant for me than walking among the rows. -
Mark Mascellani
Roman by birth, Umbrian by education, Apulian by choice.
As a professional winemaker with decades of experience in important Italian wineries, I have shaped the winemaking philosophy based on the close interaction between native vines, territory and man.
With Marco we carry out daily selection work in the vineyard to obtain balanced wines, an expression of the variety and the company style.
